Perched dramatically on a cliff edge overlooking the Makhaleng River Valley, the lodge is surrounded by vast skies, rugged peaks, and sweeping mountain views. Here, the landscape feels raw, remote, and deeply connected to the rhythms of the highlands.

Trading Posts have deep historical roots across the country, with many established in the early 1900s. This particular trading store, dating back to 1939, later evolved into what is today Ramabanta Trading Post Lodge, carrying forward the enduring Trading Post name synonymous with commerce, travel, and community in the Mountain Kingdom.

For generations, it has served as a natural gathering place for locals, traders, and adventurers alike, woven into the fabric of life in the highlands.
